Purse Lip Product Dump

I ALWAYS, always have chap-stick in my purse. In fact, I have at least 4 different lip products in my purse at one time. It doesn’t matter how small the purse is stuff those babies in there.

Lately, I’ve been toting around these lip products:

Sephora Coconut Lip Balm – $6.00 This works really great for soothing and nourishing dry lips if you wear lip stick daily. It goes on smooth and isn’t sticky. The smell reminds me of suntan lotion, but it isn’t overpowering and does not have a strong taste. The only downside is that it does not have SPF in it, so I usually put it on before bed or during the day while I’m inside.

CLINIQUE Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Woppin’ Watermelon – $17.00 This a tinted lip balm I received in my monthly Sephora Beauty Box. It is soothing and moisturizing. I like that it there is just a small hint of color. Again, the downside is that there is no SPF. There are several other drug store products I’ve tried that are a similar formula, so I personally wouldn’t purchase this for $17.00.

Kylie Cosmetics The Birthday Collection Cupcake Gloss -$15.00 As much as I hate contributing to the Kardashian fortune… I LOVE Kylie’s products. I have several matte lipstick kits, mini velvet lipsticks, and two of her eye shadow palettes. The products are pricey, but the quality is superb. I really wanted to purchase something from her birthday collection, but really needed to keep it under $50. (The Too Faced Peaches and Cream Collection releases on 8/31). I opted to get the cupcake gloss. Like other Kylie glosses… it is a bit sticky. It goes on smooth and does last quite awhile for a gloss. I suggest wearing it over a lip liner or matte liquid lipstick.

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey – $17.00 This is definitely my favorite go to daily “lipstick”. It is ultra-light and moisturizing. Don’t let the name “black honey” intimidate you. This color looks great on any skin tone because it fuses with the natural tone of your lips. It is fragrance and icky taste free. I received this lipstick as a sample in another Sephora Beauty Box. I will definitely be purchasing the full size.
